Caren Weinstein
Caren Weinstein, of Vintage Designing Co., is a Registered Graphic Designer whose long career in design informs her thoughtful, well-crafted approach to making. During the COVID period, she realized a long-held dream of building a creative side business and set up a home workshop to explore functional woodworking with a strong design sensibility.
Working primarily with hardwoods, Caren creates utilitarian objects that are both practical and beautifully made. Her work includes raised pet feeders, charcuterie boards, coasters, ornaments, cedar disks, bottle openers, butter boards, and small furniture pieces. Each design reflects careful consideration of form, function, and material, with nothing wasted in the process.
