Jackie Warmelink

Jackie Warmelink works primarily in stoneware, handbuilding her pottery from slabs of clay. She imprints each piece with natural materials such as hosta and rhubarb leaves or lace, creating textured surfaces that make every work unique.

Her stoneware pieces are finished in organic glaze combinations and include functional bowls, platters, serving dishes, spoon rests, soap dishes, and wine coolers. Jackie also creates raku-fired work featuring copper and white crackle glazes, including platters, bowls, vases, and sculptural birds, animals, and fish mounted on barn board or driftwood. Her practice also includes distinctive seasonal and holiday pieces.

I create unique pots from the inspiration of nature that surrounds my studio – all one-of-a-kind.
