Cecilia Chan is an Ottawa-based artist with a passion for landscape and cityscape painting, working primarily in oil and acrylic. Her style is rooted in Impressionism, characterized by vibrant colours and expressive brushstrokes that capture the energy and atmosphere of a scene.
In 2023, she returned to painting en plein-air, reconnecting with nature and rediscovering the joy of creating art outdoors.
Through her work, Cecilia invites viewers to slow down and experience familiar places through shifting light and mood.
