Jackie Kavanagh (of Maple Weaves) is a self-taught fibre artist who is passionate about creating colourful textured art. Educated as an engineer, she has embraced the artistic freedom inherent in contemporary weaving. She creates a wide array of woven hangings and modern decor using natural and recycled fibres. Jackie is inspired to offer unique handcrafted art that brings warmth and sparks joy. She works from her home in Ottawa, Ontario.
