Roanne’s mixed media art is rooted in reflections on everyday moments, often overlooked. Her collages juxtapose ephemera with more delicate papers, as she plays with layers and texture on substrates of upcycled materials such as reclaimed wood.

Guided by an intuitive process, Roanne allows materials to lead the work, embracing imperfections, weathered surfaces, and the quiet history embedded in found objects. Her pieces invite closer looking, revealing details that emerge slowly through layering and touch.
