Janice Tremblay

Janice, a longtime painter originally from northern Ontario, has always been drawn to the sights, sounds and scents of nature. Each of her paintings represents a moment of connectedness with nature and its abundant energy. Her manipulation of shape, shadow, light and colour are attempts to capture the soul of these magical experiences.

Her work is characterized by luminous colour, expressive brushwork, and a strong sense of atmosphere. Landscapes and waterscapes are recurring subjects, inspired by northern forests, shorelines, and quiet moments of reflection.​​​
