Growing up in small Northern Ontario communities, Janice always loved the various natural landscapes, mostly attracted to all bodies of water and the beauty surrounding them. She started painting as a teen and had a few pauses over the years until 2016. She now paints acrylic landscapes in her studio in Orleans. She infuses vibrant colours into her work with plenty of glazes while trying to capture the most stunning moments that her photos could not quite accomplish.​
