Linda finds inspiration everywhere: the smooth curved metal on a Frank Gehry building, the iridescent wings on a damselfly, the artistic lines of an ancient font. Sometimes a pearl, stone or cabochon will call out to her begging to be adorned with silver. Linda’s love of architecture explains the many miniature silver houses she has made and continues to make.
Another passion of hers is combining different metals, colours and textures. Some of her most recent pieces combine fine silver, some patinaed and some not, with 23kt gold. The result is a very unique piece that is truly a work of art because, after all, what is jewellery but a wearable piece of art!
Four beautiful pink dichroic glass cabochons are encased in fine silver, making a pendant that is 44mm high x 35mm wide. Some of the silver has been patinaed black to enhance the contrast. The pendant includes an 18" sterling chain.
A pendant made entirely of fine silver it has the impression of local leaves tamped into it. The pendant measures 30mm high x 25mm wide and comes with an 18" sterling chain.
An organically shpaed pendant made of fine silver, some patinaed black, some highly polished silver in colour. It measures 30mm high x 12mm wide and comes with an 18" sterling chain.
A delicate pendant made of fine silver with local leaves embossed in it. This pendant measures 17mm square and comes with an 18" sterling chain.
A fine silver pendant featuring a primarily blue glass cabochons. The pendant measures 48mm high x 27mm wide and comes with an 18" sterling chain.
A fine silver pendant encases a stunning black and yellow glass cabochons. The pendant measures 35mm high x 26mm wide and comes with an 18" sterling chain.
