Initial Membership
Art in the Neighourhood's membership brings with it a permanent page on our website and a priority application to all of our shows. Basic membership is required in order to participate in any of our shows or events.***
“Art in the Neighbourhood” is a collaborative group whose sole aim is to bring art to the local (and world-wide) community and celebrate the creativity of the artists involved. The cost of website hosting on Wix is shared among the artists making it much more affordable. The building of the website was done for free by one of our members.
Basic membership: "Gallery Room" page on our "Virutal Gallery" website with a minimum of 6 photos of your work, a biography, links to your own website (if you have one), links to Instagram, Facebook, Etsy, Ottawa Artisans, and contact info for your customers to reach you. There is no setup fee for the initial Gallery Room set up. ** It is included in the Annual Fee. The Annual Fee for 2025-2026 is $25 and renewal wtih Wix is October 1 each year.
Premium membership: "Gallery Shop" with a fully functioning e-commerce shopping cart along with the same elements listed in Basic membership. A minimum of 9 items is to be maintained in the shop throughout the year. The Annual Fee for 2025-2026 after the initial setup cost* is $50/year and renewal with Wix is October 1 each year.
Fees collected pays for Wix hosting of both basic and e-commerce through a monthly business plan subscription as well as our domain name registrations. The domain names we own are artintheneighbourhhood.gallery, artintheneighbourhood.com, artintheneighbourhood.ca, artintheneighbourhoodgallery.ca, artintheneighbourhoodgallery.com
* Initial setup fee for a Gallery Shop with 9-12 items is $100. This is a one-time fee only. Find a Contract and Terms and Conditions here for more details.
** If you wish to change from a Gallery Shop to a Gallery Room at a later date, this one-time set-up fee will be $50.
*** Removal from our website and our group means you will no longer have a priority to apply to our in-person shows. However, you can maintain membership without an obligation to take part in every show. You can still maintain your page on our website and choose any future shows at your discretion.
Annual Membership Renewal
Start here to confirm your membership level, complete the form and make your payment for the year. Renewal is October 1 annually.
Basic membership: "Gallery Room" page on our "Online Gallery" website with a minimum of 6 photos of your work, a biography, links to your own website (if you have one), links to Instagram, Facebook, Etsy, other Art Societies, and contact info for your customers to reach you. The Annual Fee for 2025-2026 is $25 and renewal wtih Wix is October 1 each year.
Premium membership: "Gallery Shop" with a fully functioning e-commerce shopping cart along with the same elements listed in Basic membership. * NOTE: If you decide to change from a Shop to a Room the setup fee for the change over will be $50
