Linda finds inspiration everywhere: the smooth curved metal on a Frank Gehry building, the iridescent wings on a damselfly, the artistic lines of an ancient font. Sometimes a pearl, stone or cabochon will call out to her begging to be adorned with silver. Linda’s love of architecture explains the many miniature silver houses she has made and continues to make. Another passion of hers is combining different metals, colours and textures. Some of her most recent pieces combine fine silver, some patinaed and some not, with 23kt gold. The result is a very unique piece that is truly a work of art because, after all, what is jewellery but a wearable piece of art!
