As a self-taught fibre artist, Jackie creates playful, visually dynamic fibre artwork using traditional hand weaving techniques.

 

She loves the tactile experience of working with natural fibres and the challenge of creating abstract designs that leave room for personal interpretation.

 

Weaving is a free flowing, spontaneous and meditative process so each piece is an originally designed and handmade work of art. Each work reflects an intuitive balance between structure and spontaneity, encouraging personal connection and interpretation.
