Barbara Szatañski

BDaszled Deszigns is the jewellery studio of Barbara Szatanski, shaped by more than 25 years of hands-on exploration and personal meaning.

Her journey began with amber brought from Poland by her father, which she transformed into jewellery for her mother and sister. That first experience opened the door to working with gemstones, and from there evolved into cold-connection wire work using sterling silver and copper—techniques that remain central to her practice today.

Barbara’s signature copper flower design is an homage to the sunflower, inspired by Ovarian Cancer Canada’s emblem, reflecting her belief that jewellery can carry stories, memory, and purpose. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, balancing natural materials with expressive, wearable design.
