Janet Borzecki, of JayBee Jewelry Design, has a collection of unique copper and silver earrings, necklaces and rings as well as crocheted wire necklaces, semiprecious stone and crystal yoga bracelets and necklaces.
Janet started creating jewelry when she was a child and built herself a beading loom from scrap wood to created native inspired beadwork bracelets. This desire to create unique and beautiful items has evolved over the years from crocheted wire necklaces using semiprecious stones to a passion for silver and copper jewelry. Each piece of metal jewelry is created from wire and sheet using traditional (and sometimes not so traditional) metal smithing techniques such as forging, cutting and soldering. Her love of organic shapes and flowing lines is evident in her work.
Janet is one of the founding members of Art in the Neighbourhood.
Prices range from $20 to $170.
